Dear Artist,

At this year?s Mountain View Art and Wine Festival on September 9th and 10th, my station, KMVT Community Television is organizing a series of Skillshare Workshops. Local artists will be providing free 30-minute workshops in an outdoor, informal setting, giving the public a unique opportunity to experiment with a variety of art in all media! The goal of KMVT Skillshare is to bring together the community in the spirit of sharing and learning.

As an artist in the Bay Area community, you are invited to participate in Skillshare! You would provide a one-time 30-minute workshop or demonstration in any medium of your choice. Ideas for workshops could take any form, including claymation, juice-pouch purses and T-shirt making.

Skillshare is also an opportunity for you to promote yourself or your organization.

To participate, please send me an email with your name, organization (if applicable), contact information, a title and short description of your workshop, your preferred timeslot and whether your workshop is designated for adults or children. Artists must provide their own materials. We can provide electricity, a TV monitor and/or a video camera if needed.
